Tobu

Designed by: FRANCESCO ROTA

Info

Designed to offer a deeply enveloping sense of comfort, the Tobu sofa elegantly expresses the idea of contemporary informality. Its tall, generous seats are crafted with multi-density cushions, engineered to provide calibrated support and lasting relaxation, while loose pillows add an extra layer of softness and compositional freedom. The ability to combine different fabrics and textures invites full customization, allowing for a play of material and chromatic contrasts that results in a sophisticated look.
The sofa rests directly on the floor with a solid base — available in upholstered or lacquered versions — into which the distinctive wing-shaped backrests and armrests are set, clad in either fabric or leather. Slightly tilted backward, these elements define the profile with elegance and lightness, introducing a sense of openness and movement that enlivens the composition.
Informal yet refined, this seating system is available in linear configurations or angular variants, thanks to central or end modules without armrests, offering flexible solutions and tailored postures to suit personal preferences.
