Porro conquers a new prestigious showcase in the Netherlands. Noort Interior, 1.300-sm refined showroom located in one of the most famous tourist locations in the Netherlands, Noordwijk, renews its exposition dedicating an entire area to the joint proposal Living Divani and Porro, as a symbol of design excellence and elegance by Piero Lissoni, the iconic Italian design architect, art director and main designer of both brands. The dining room, the sleeping area and the dressing room entrusted to Porro alternate to relax areas Living Divani, completed by Porro systems for the living zone, recreating the idea of a big house in a tropical setting where primary colours mix up with the chromatic vitality of wood, spreading intense notes of elegance, refinement and relax. The première of the new area, set for 10 October from 8 pm to 11.30 pm with Piero Lissoni as special guest, included the opening of the exhibition by Dutch painter Marcel Bastiaans, whose abstract, colourful paintings are freely placed on walls to complete the settings of Living Divani and Porro, converted into the house of a refined art collector.

In the dining area, the organic lines of the new Galileo table in heat-treated ash, thanks to the oval top in solid wood standing on thick tapered legs, come with the thin Garda armchairs with a black-stained ash structure and an enveloping shell covered in black leather. The Tiller cupboard in eucalyptus is presented in its higher version, with interiors including two crystal shelves, to which 1 to 4 more drawers can be added.

In the first living area, a Load-It + Modern composition on the wall matches the wall panels and the white-varnished shelves of a full-length Load-It bookcase with two matt white lacquered boards and the hanging containers of the Modern system. Closed volumes in heat-treated hemlock, oak and elm alternate to open modules with matt lacquered rosso cina, blu reale and giallo mustard interiors, creating large wall units, colour flashes and essences, for a colourful living.

In the second living area, enclosed between the Ex-Libris bookcases with crystal backs and sides, the Balancing Boxes containers in santos rosewood and red gum essences come with a Living Divani sofa. A Modern composition combines a drop-leaf door TV element and a unit equipped with drawers in matt sabbia lacquer, perfect to store multimedia devices, with a suspended shelf and a Flag TV panel in eucalyptus, which can rotate at 90° adjusting the tv position according to the watcher’s point of view. The setting is completed by the Tiller low cupboard, whose 4 doors can be opened rotating at 180° one over the other, pleasantly changing the unit face design and creating new configurations o the Tiller appearance.

The bedroom stars the new Taiko bed, a unique blend of rigorous geometry and an inviting softness, with a wooden bedframe and wide feather back cushions. Taiko comes with the trusted Butler, a cylindrical wooden bedside table, which presents a grooved tray on top that enhances the objects placed upon it. On the background an impactful System bookshelf in the new reduced depth of 23 cm, that runs full-length from the floor to the ceiling, placing all bets on the strong tactile impact of its finishing, the teak, a warm wooden essence that varies from pale yellow to bronze with hints of red. In order to protect some of its sections, two-sides glass hinged doors with Iron frames are offered; extreme transparency enclosed by an elegant metal profile.
