    BE ORIGINAL WEEK

    Porro will be among the partner companies of BE ORIGINAL WEEK, an initiative promoted by Elle Decor Italia for the defense of intellectual property rights in design.
    An entire week dedicated to the protection of industrial design rights that, from the 22nd to the 28th of October, will light up the city of Milan in order to raise awareness among consumers so that they can make informed purchases.
    For the whole week, eight display windows at la Rinascente in Piazza Duomo will host an installation of 21 design objects within a special display organized by Elle Decor Italia, and that will visually represent the BE ORIGINAL CATALOGUE – an online catalogue dedicated to original pieces through which the consumer can be informed of the identity and the originality of a project.

    Inside Design Amsterdam

    During the tenth edition of Inside Design Amsterdam, organized by ELLE Decoration Netherlands, Porro presents in collaboration with Disstudio - his referential retailer in the Dutch capital - some products symbol of the collection.
    The event will present best design shops in the city, restaurants, galleries, museums and locations pop up. On this occasionthe temporary space of Disstudio (Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal 284), located in a historic house in the center of Amsterdam, offers a selection of iconic pieces of Porro: the cupboard Tiller, the Groove bench, chairs Neve by Piero Lissoni, the bookshelves Load-it and Storage Air / Ex libris.

    Opening of the new showroom Steininger in Wien

    On September the 12th,  Steininger, the historical Porro dealer in Austria and manufacturer of his own top quality kitchen collections, celebrates the widening of its new showroom in Wien. Once more the relationship between Porro and Steininger was reinforced, with the new shop in Wien that is added to St. Martin and to the second shop in Wien, standing out among the protagonists of design in Austria and confirming at the same time the consistent attention paid to the Italian brand by the Austrian market and the closer Easter European countries, already attentively and interestingly looking at the Porro quality design products, one of the most authoritative Italian furnishing design representatives.

    New opening in London - Staffan Tollgard Design Store

    On September the 12th, Staffan Tollgård Design Store opens its doors on the tranquil docks of Grosvenor Waterside, Chelsea in London. Porro will reinforce his presence in UK presenting in the new shop a selection of his best sellers. The light-filled 3500 square foot design store showcases a personally curated collection of the best and the bold of luxury contemporary design, including Porro products such as an example of Storage system, an horizontal version of Tiller sideboard, the small table Balancing Boxes design Front, the mirror Reflection, the precious bookcase Ex-Libris and a hanging composition of Modern composition.
