Porro’s design for the new Camparino in Galleria

Info

Porro’s design was chosen for the new Camparino in Galleria, the famous venue overlooking both Piazza Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, which recently reopened after a careful restyling by the studio Lissoni Associati.

In the basement spaces, revitalized to create the new Sala Gaspare Campari for bartending courses, tastings and private events, guests are welcomed by the Frank armchairs in blue velvet designed by Piero Lissoni for Porro.

With a sober taste and a retro inspiration, these furnishings are characterized by an original design that unites three distinct elements in a harmonious indissoluble whole: the soft, enveloping shell-shaped back, the solid, robust metal legs and the high thickness seat providing superior comfort.

Firmly acknowledged as one of the most influential and authoritative design brands for the refinement of the lines, attention to detail and research on materials, Porro fits perfectly into the spaces of Camparino in Galleria, the symbol of the Milanese aperitivo, enhancing its characteristics and respecting its delicate balance between past and future.
