Design Piero Lissoni + Crs Porro/ Updates 2025
With as many as three different concepts of wardrobe structure, Storage is the first modular system that provides for a continuous space throughout the wardrobe. Innovation lies in the new design of the load-bearing element of the structure. Always seen and conceived as an element to divide parts of the wardrobe, with Storage the side panel is no longer a barrier, but becomes the element that allows continuity of space inside the wardrobe, while brilliantly fulfilling its function as a load-bearing element of the structure and support for the horizontal elements. Inside the wardrobe the idea of space acquires a new value. Thanks to the three different types of structure - walk-in closet, traditional wardrobe and boiserie, now perfectly matching one another - it is possible to create open or closed spaces by alternating different materials for transparent and non-transparent solutions.
STORAGE MIRROR WARDROBE
The Storage wardrobe with Block door in mirror glass creates a reflective surface that adds visual depth to the space, and is paired with the delicate solid wood joints of the Iro bed.
The ultra-thin frame of the door ensures a minimal aesthetic, while the hinge, designed by Porro, allows for a practical 180-degree opening. This solution works both as a single mirrored door to complement a fully closed wardrobe, and for creating large, techno-glam dressing areas with luminous reflections.
The back of the door is finished in melamine, as is the wardrobe structure.
STORAGE TRANSPARENT WARDROBE
In the wardrobe space, the Storage hinged-door wardrobe, designed by Piero Lissoni + Porro Research Center, features a Eucalyptus23 melamine structure, enclosing transparent modules with transparent lighted shelves framed by Iron doors.
This entirely transparent configuration, located in the center of the room with a luminous background behind, remarks how Storage is not just a simple wardrobe, but a showcase for displaying precious clothes, not only in private residences but also in contract projects.
At the center, two Origata benches by Nao Tamura, lacquered in azuki, are made from a single sheet of aluminum, cut and assembled with screws, maximizing material use and offering a new perspective.
STORAGE BOISERIE_GLIDE SAMURAI
A fundamental element of the Porro home, defined by dynamism and transformation, the Glide partitions in the Samurai model feature a vertical alternation of solid and transparent surfaces, creating unexpected patterns and introducing new visual rhythms into the space.
Inside, the Storage Boiserie combines metal elements in a cuvée finish with shelves and drawer units in white cherry wood, standing out against back panels covered in woven straw also used for the Layer wall cladding to define a welcoming, enveloping, and mono-material dressing area.
STORAGE WALK-IN CLOSET
Against a backdrop of Layer wall paneling in white ash, the Storage dressing room is presented with a black metal upright and equipment in black sugi – an enveloping, highly sophisticated finish with a matte ink-black surface and pronounced grain, inspired by the ancient Japanese Sou Sugi Ban technique which preserved cedar wood by charring it with charcoal.
Composition with 3 black sugi melamine chest of drawers, lighted transparent glass shelves and clothes rods.
STORAGE DRESSING ROOM_EUCALIPTO23_MOKA
The quintessence of the brand’s customisation capabilities, the Storage corner dressing room, designed by Piero Lissoni + Centro Ricerche Porro, features transparent compartments, completely open or enclosed by glass doors, alongside spaces closed by the Portrait doors in rope-coloured fabric.
The warm tones of the moka finish are chosen for the frame and metal parts in the new 25x25 mm slim profile, which helps lighten the composition and allows for perfect integration between different types.
Storage back panels and fittings feature the deep nuances, softened by fine streaks, of the eucalipto23, one of the refined textures available for Porro wardrobe interiors - selected and produced exclusively for the brand by combining sturdiness and high aesthetic values.
At the centre of the room, the Storage Isola taupe lacquered chest of drawers incorporates the standard equipment that makes the Storage bedroom system unique and combines them in an infinite range of possibilities, creating a new multifunctional container to complete the dressing room, perfectly aligned with all the finishes of the Porro collection.
STORAGE DRESSING ROOM_FRASSINO WHITE _PERLA
The Storage Dressing Room, designed by Piero Lissoni + CRS Porro, is enclosed by Layer partitions in mirrored glass. It is accessed through Glide Miru sliding doors with a moka frame and transparent glass.
Presented as an entirely glass-walled corner composition, it features a Nordic-inspired structure in white ash melamine, metal elements in the new perla finishing and matching doors, creating a bright yet warm and intimate ambiance. This finish is available not only for the metal parts of the structure, but also for the frame of the Iron doors, allowing for perfect integration of the doors with the Storage structure.
At the center, the Storage Isola chest of drawers incorporates the standard equipment that makes the Storage night system unique, combining them in an endless series of possibilities. Here, it is shown with a fango back-painted glass top, Fango lacquered open compartments, and white ash melamine trays, forming a multifunctional centerpiece designed to complete the dressing room in both private residences and high-end contract spaces.
