One of the world's most appreciated brands for its ideal of beauty consisting of pure shapes, extremely precise workmanship and research into materials and technologies, Porro takes part in the exhibition “ICONE - Voices of Design Made in Italy”, to be held at the M7 Museum in Doha, Qatar, from 20 September to 20 December 2023.

The exhibition, promoted by the Embassy of Italy in the State of Qatar and hosted by Qatar Museums, with the involvement of the most important Italian companies of Made in Italy Design, is curated by Rossana Orlandi with set up entrusted to Lucio Micheletti of Micheletti + Partners. Thanks to the latest lighting, digital and sound technologies, it is conceived as an emotional experience inside Made in Italy design: immersive projections, guided by a soundtrack created from thoughts recited by the designers themselves, will take the public on a journey through the vision of Made in Italy design.

Porro participates in the exhibition with two of the most representative pieces of its collection: the Balancing Boxes storage table designed by Swedish designers Front in 2017, emblematic of Porro's research into materials, manufacturing and shapes that give emotion and iconic presence in the contemporary domestic landscape, and the Romby chair, designed by GamFratesi in 2020 and which smoothly and slowly turned into the “manifesto” item of Porro design with its ability to instantly convey the typical geometric purity, manufacturing excellence and artisanal flavour of the brand.
