For the fifth consecutive year, Porro takes part in the London Design Festival, presenting the 2026 collection at the Porro London showroom. Opened in September 2022 in the King’s Cross area, north of the city, the showroom is located within the majestic brick building that follows the curve of Regent’s Canal and houses designer Tom Dixon’s headquarters.

The new Ryo bookcase by Nao Tamura makes its debut alongside the company’s iconic systems and new sofa collection: highly customisable proposals designed to adapt naturally to the habits and rhythms of contemporary life, creating multifaceted scenarios where design research, material excellence and compositional freedom come together in a refined and timeless living experience.

A shimmering presence in the space, the new Ryo bookcase by Nao Tamura, in a bright aluminium finish, is composed of long horizontal shelves supported by triangular structural elements formed by folding a single sheet. At the entrance, it creates an open, multifunctional shelving system for books and objects.

Porro demonstrates its ability to interpret the home from multiple perspectives with the Cargo sofa, designed by Christophe Pillet. Presented in a double-sided composition upholstered in white and grey mélange fabric, Cargo expresses an openness to innovative visual languages through its freely arranged soft volumes. A practical addition to the living area, the new Share coffee table by CRS Porro celebrates the ritual of serving. Its cantilevered metal structure, with a half-cross base, supports a solid wood top that can be easily removed and used as a tray, combining practical function with refinement.

Against the wall, the Origata console by Nao Tamura, lacquered in arancio siena, frames a reception area or workspace. Monolithic in appearance, Origata draws inspiration from the making of kimonos, the traditional Japanese garments in which flat, rectangular fabric is cut along straight lines and then sewn together to avoid waste. The same principle is applied to this piece, created from a sheet of aluminium that is cut and assembled with screws to maximise the use of the material.

A meeting room with a strong character showcases the Metallico table by Piero Lissoni, distinguished by the visual lightness of its top and legs, made of 12 mm-thick solid aluminium, and by its distinctive burnished-effect surface finish.

Surrounding the table are the Sixte dining chairs by Christophe Pillet, featuring a tubular metal frame painted in iron and black leather cushions. Seamlessly integrated into Porro’s creative habitat, they introduce a touch of Parisian style and a new dimension of relaxation.

Bright and light, the Storage wardrobe system, designed by Piero Lissoni + CRS Porro, is a true architectural feature that defines the space, demonstrating its versatility as a high-capacity storage solution for the living area. It is presented in black sugi, an enveloping and extremely sophisticated finish that is both ancient and modern, combined with a black-painted metal frame and transparent glass doors. Lighting integrated into the shelf accentuates Storage’s graphic character and follows its lines, transforming it into a stage for clothes and objects.

Finally, on the rear wall, the Load-it bookcase, a Porro classic designed by Wolfgang Tolk in 1995 and characterised by projecting shelves that slice through the space, is paired with the Modern writing desk top in black-stained ash. It is an ideal solution for enhancing a transitional area, creating a bookcase with a home-working station and integrated lighting, thanks to magnetic spotlights that can be positioned as desired along the electrified profile beneath the shelf.
