Porro @ XXIX COMPASSO D’ORO ADI EXHIBITION

27.04.26

ADI Design Museum
Piazza Compasso d’Oro 1, Milan
16 April – 4 June 2026

The Origata bench and console, designed by Nao Tamura for Porro, are on display at the XXIX Compasso d’Oro ADI Exhibition at the ADI Design Museum in Milan, among the projects selected to represent the excellence of contemporary design. Inspired by the ancient Japanese kimono-making technique — in which fabric is cut into geometric shapes without waste — the Origata bench and console stand out for their precise construction and vibrant finishes, celebrating the essence of the material. The exhibition inauguration is scheduled for April 15 at 6:00 PM in Piazza Compasso d’Oro 1, as part of the National Made in Italy Day program, promoted by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy. The event is strategically timed just before the Design Week and Salone del Mobile, when Milan becomes the international hub for design. The winners of the XXIX Compasso d’Oro ADI will be announced on May 22, at the conclusion of the exhibition, by an international jury tasked with engaging the plurality of languages and perspectives that define today’s design landscape.

Public Opening Hours.
Monday – Sunday | 10.30 am – 8.00 pm.
Friday closed.
