Porro takes research into shapes and materials a step further in the Modern storage system for the living area, introducing the possibility of adding glass side panels in its square module. Highlighting lightness and playing with transparency, the new Window module of Modern creates new suspended landscapes that overcome gravity and open up new interpretations of objects, peeking into the intimacy of the compartments.
For those who love intense and strong atmospheres, the new black river finish is added, featuring a marked woodgrain pattern for a vibrant and sensual space.
A project with a precise creative identity, capable of evolving year after year and surprising with new appeal, combining in unexpected ways the 19 woods and 29 lacquered colors with metals, glasses and marbles of the Porro collection.


GRAPHIC INTERPLAY
Modern living Composition in tortora lacquer and black river, stainless steel Roc board
In the living area, a large Modern hanging composition raised from the floor and combined with a stainless steel Roc board catches the eye on the wall. Its dynamism arises from the nice graphic interplay of the tortora lacquered hinged doors, contrasting with the open modules in black river, a strongly textured wood type chosen also for the interiors of the new Window glass cabinets with the glass sides, which stand out as contemplative voids in the composition. The open TV element in black stained ash is at the centre, visible.

A DIALOGUE OF MATTER AND LIGHT
Modern + Load-it living composition in stainless steel and black river, Window module
In the Modern+Load-it composition, the Load-it bookcase designed by Wolfgang Tolk with steel wall panels and shelves and LED lights surrounds the central window and creates a graphic backdrop against which the square module of Modern stands out and moves, developing objects that differ in terms of materials, colours and uses. On the right, two wall units with black river drop-leaf doors feature verde cardo lacquered interiors, while the Window glass modules allow a glimpse of the interiors even through the transparent glass sides. Finally, the black river suspended shelf offers space to place the TV set or one’s own collection of objects.

Designing spaces through clear and refined signs characterized by rigorous lines, sophisticated finishes and design quality: Wolfgang Tolk’s Load-it bookcase with black stained canneté wall panels, alternating horizontal and vertical stripes, creates a wall-mounted boiserie featuring verde inglese glossy lacquered Modern elements with calacatta verde marble tops, that provide storage space for the office. Modern + Slider working composition in noce canaletto, Layer paneling system in eucalyptus
Porro shows its ability to design tailor-made solutions with craftsmanship accuracy in the niche, framed by the Layer paneling system in eucalyptus, featuring a th. 100 mm Modern shelf and Slider shelves in noce canaletto finish. A Porro classic designed by Piergiorgio Cazzaniga in 2002 and still relevant today, Slider is characterized by a layout of thick straight lines, in wood or lacquered, and the special wall-fixing system that allows the bookends to be placed along the entire length.

Craftsmanship from the bottom up: the Modern composition for the day area in palissandro santos catches the eye with its transparent glass doors, black frame and bright shelves, that allow to see the natural grain of wood acting like a trait d’union between the modules.
