From Porro’s ongoing exploration of new shades comes Azuki, a hue inspired by the iridescent tones of the Japanese red bean, shifting from burgundy to brown. Deep, refined, and enveloping, Azuki pairs flawlessly with dark woods, black marble, and leather. It reveals its vibrant character in natural light or within white interiors, where it gracefully enhances the atmosphere with a touch of understated brilliance.
MODERN, Design Piero Lissoni + CRS Porro
The suspended Modern composition in azuki lacquer, composed by two modules with flap door and Boite-Aux handle, recalls the system’s iconic rectangular arrangements from the 1990s. The result is a vibrant, contemporary atmosphere – where past and present engage in a continuous dialogue, shaping an ever-evolving design narrative.
VENTIQUATTRO, Design Piero Lissoni 2024
The poetics of essentiality: the Ventiquattro table captures attention for the boldness of its extreme reduction - the rectangular transparent glass top with bevelled edges, revealing the tubular stainless steel structure, varnished in azuki. Piero Lissoni focuses on pure lines and a rationalist approach, creating a piece of furniture with a technological and futuristic aesthetic.
Inspired by the frame of a bicycle or motorcycle, the supporting structure of Ventiquattro consists of a steel ring that generates a double tripod joined by two chains, similar to the base of a building, pushing the structural concept to the limit to achieve great solidity even in very wide lengths.
GALLERY LOW CUPBOARD, Design Gabriele e Oscar Buratti
With an interplay of contrasting finishes, Gallery Low Cupboard combines the fine eucalyptus wood texture of door and side panels with the azuki glossy lacquer of its interiors. The mirror back panel, the inner light and the valuable Marquina Black marble top make this single-door cupboard unique.
MODERN, EUCALIPTO/ AZUKI, Design Piero Lissoni + CRS Porro
New interpretations for the self-standing sideboards by Modern, elegantly elevated on black-painted Bridge feet. The new tapered module by Modern opens the way to innovative solutions and material combinations. In this composition, for istance, the eucalipto covering top, side panels, and fronts make room are paired with an open module in the new matt azuki lacquer, equipped with lighting, to optimally illuminate the objects.
ORIGATA, Design Nao Tamura
With its minimalist geometry and pop art influence, juxtaposing brutalist architecture and the comfort of a soft cushion, the Origata bench is a three-dimensional sculpture that plays with symmetry, balance and the expressive power of colour, offering a new vantage point on Porro’s home. Origata’s optional cushion is removable thanks to a textile loop which hooks it to the structure: a simple and refined detail that reflects the philosophy of the project.
