Metals

Metal surfaces contribute to defining the essential and architectural character of Porro furnishings, introducing reflections, material depth and sophisticated contrasts. Alongside white and black painted metals, sober and elegant, and the iconic Iron effect developed exclusively for Porro, research has evolved towards increasingly rich and sensory finishes.

This has led to surfaces with a strong decorative value, such as burnished brass, crossed by deep and iridescent shades that reveal the preciousness of the metal, as well as new metallic textures such as bianco metallico, nero metallico and rosso antico, capable of interacting with woods, glass and lacquers to create refined plays of light and tactile vibrations.

From the wax-finished steel of the Load-It bookcase to the metal details that define systems and storage elements, every component is conceived as an integral part of the project, contributing to a carefully balanced dialogue between formal rigor, technical innovation and material sensitivity.

Completing the systems, all metal components can be painted tone-on-tone to ensure visual continuity and aesthetic coherence, including the interiors of wardrobes and storage units.
