Renovation rustic Parma

22.06.24

Info

The perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, in the Emilia-Romagna region with beautiful scenery, fantastic food and wine, this magnificent rustic house in the countryside of Parma, surrounded by lush vegetation, is the result of a renovation by Blank Design, an architectural design studio and furniture showroom led by architects Valeria Piras and Michele Morelli.

The living room is characterised by two important stone columns that introduce a classic touch, while the smooth white ceiling with exposed black structural beams enhances the industrial atmosphere further complemented by the Ferro table, designed by Piero Lissoni for Porro in 1994.
Selected in its low table version with a bronze-effect finish, this iconic item is the centrepiece of the modern living room, harmoniously blending rustic and contemporary design elements. Transcending its function as a table, Ferro blends in with the other sculptural artworks that decorate the space: its thin, curved, suspended metal plate adds a sophisticated and convivial atmosphere.
