Porro in a villa in the Lyon countryside

Info

Sophisticated woods, Made in Italy furniture and art pieces: Porro design enters the colorful villa renovated by decorator Claude Cartier in a small medieval village a few kilometers from Lyon.
The interior design transforms in a contemporary key a 2-story farmhouse originally built in the 80’s, generating a succession of surprising ambiances overlooking the garden.
In the living room, an equipped wall is created by the Boutique Mast by Piero Lissoni, the Porro system with nautical lightness and graphic linearity that allows maximum freedom of expression. Between the vertical sequence of metal uprights in burnished brass finish and the horizontal cantilever wooden shelves and suspended top in black stained ash, open modules with mongoi interiors and natural canneté doors, preciously refined with a 45° corner jointing, are fitted, chosen among the Porro woods.
A storage capacity is offered by the Storage wardrobe in mongoi with wooden doors and Oslo handles entirely made of wood, cut out with careful carpentry work, in the name of visual cleanliness.
In the bedroom, the Taiko bed by Piero Lissoni for Porro chooses the blonde and delicate notes of heat-treated elm, for a pleasant atmosphere that invite to relax.
