Porro design enriches the new Oberoi family residence
For the spectacular Gaya Beach House overlooking Juhu Beach in Mumbai, designed by Lissoni Casal Ribeiro, Porro contributes a curated selection of iconic pieces and bespoke solutions, seamlessly integrating into a project that reflects the cosmopolitan lifestyle of three generations.
Within a sculptural architecture shaped by the dialogue between inside and outside, the interiors unfold in a sequence of refined atmospheres: from the basement featuring the Ferro table in a bold red finish, to the dining hall furnished with Frank armchairs in deep bordeaux and dark orange tones.
The private areas highlight the brand’s sartorial attitude: dressing rooms with Storage compositions in sophisticated finishes, the Offshore high sideboard in red cina–stained ash, and the Boxes bedside tables in back-painted glass. For the younger generation, Storage wardrobes with Block transparent doors and black sugi interiors; for the owners, an articulated system of wardrobes and walk-in closets in eucalyptus and mirrored surfaces, centred around the Hub island with its cord-coloured leather bench.
The master bedroom features the full-height Modern + Load-it composition, while the living areas are completed by the Gallery Low Cupboard and the Ex-Libris vitrines with Iron doors. On the rooftop terrace, the Metallico table stands as a contemporary sculpture poised between sky and sea.
With Gaya Beach House, Porro reaffirms its international vision: an essential, cultured and customizable design language that elevates the art of living within an extraordinary private residence.
