Among the leading names in Made in Italy for high-end furniture, Porro has been chosen for the new flagship store of Suitsupply in Miami Brickell. Founded in Amsterdam in 2000 by Fokke de Jong, Suitsupply has revolutionized menswear by combining the highest quality Italian fabrics with a highly personalized in store experience, thanks to Custom Made services and on the spot alterations performed by in house tailors. The brand has grown into an international powerhouse over the past twenty years, earning a global customer base as well as celebrity fans like Bruno Mars and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Known for blending Italian textile heritage with the precision of European tailoring, Suitsupply naturally aligns with Porro, the historic Made in Italy furniture brand recognized for exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a strong focus on customization and collaboration with architects and interior designers. This partnership has created a bespoke environment where every element is designed to welcome, elevate, and express the story of tailoring.
The project, developed in collaboration with the architecture studio Puur Plus Ontwerpers under the supervision of Suitsupply’s creative director Floor Enneking, creates an immersive path through organic shapes, refined materials, and distinctive colors. The layout alternates between different rooms that guide the customer through each product category. From curved display walls with shirt shelving and hanging bars for suits, to special editions of Porro’s iconic pieces such as the Balancing Boxes coffee table in new colors and the Romby chair transformed into a stool, to custom tailoring desks, sales tables, and mannequin podiums, every detail reflects quality and the desire to deliver a memorable experience. A central element is Porro’s expertise in open wardrobes designed to keep suits on display like a runway, highlighted with lighting and museum level order.

The journey begins in the first room, featuring a long sales table and a prominent metal tailoring table. The mannequin podiums have an aluminum base covered in onyx, and the central island is surrounded by a comfortable bench with a skylit tree in the center. Perimeter hanging bars wrap the space in bright white, and at the back are the fitting rooms with blue painted doors and interiors.
To the side is the second area dedicated to T shirts, trousers, and casual shirts, fully immersed in a refined light blue tone used for the walls, shelving, sales tables, and Romby seats, reimagined with a metal pedestal base. Continuous surfaces and open displays create a fluid, natural presentation, while organically shaped metal lamps enhance the soft atmosphere.
The third large room is defined by the curved shirt wall, complemented by a large custom table. The Romby chairs in white and blue menswear inspired fabric recall classic shirting stripes, reinforcing the tailoring DNA of Suitsupply. The suit area, framed by a long curved display wall, is arranged around blue appointment tables paired with red Romby chairs, creating a dramatic and modern contrast. This room also includes the blue fitting rooms and an elegant waiting lounge furnished with sofas, a special orange edition of the Balancing Boxes coffee table, and the Boutique Mast open wardrobe featuring a metal pole, projecting shelves made from a special wood, and open compartments with dark blue interiors for showcasing selected garments and tailoring accessories with a contemporary display language.
Finally, the fourth internal room offers a relaxation area with a yellow special edition of Balancing Boxes, a blue table, a curved white display wall, and two fitting room spaces with oak exteriors and blue interiors.

A rich project both in geometry and color that expresses personality, attention to detail, and Porro’s ability to handle complex international projects.
