The geometric purity of Porro design is the protagonist in the dining room of a flat renovated by Blank Design, an architectural design studio and furniture showroom led by architects Valeria Piras and Michele Morelli. Located in a central and exclusive area of Parma, the flat is in a small residential condominium consisting of a few units. The intervention involved a complete renovation that involved the flat from both a structural and plant engineering point of view.

The core of the house is the large and bright living and dining area, dominated by the large Metallico table by Piero Lissoni for Porro, made entirely of hand-brushed black aluminium. The table's simple, linear design is distinguished by the lightness of its top and legs, made of 12 mm thick aluminium sheet. The solid aluminium gives to this essential project with delicate aesthetics but materially consistent as well, solidity and lightness, besides being ecological.
