1:1 PIERO LISSONI EXHIBITION IN CHICAGO

23.06.14

Piero Lissoni, art director of Porro since 1989, was protagonist in Chicago on Tuesday, June 10th, for a captivating lecture at the Museum of Contemporary Arts and for the opening of a month-long exhibit at the prestigious Luminaire showroom.
The space of the showroom was transformed into the “1:1 Piero Lissoni” taking a journey through various designs including his architecture, product and graphic design projects while exploring his source of inspiration and creations. A special experience for the visitor, the empty spaces are furnished with wide tables where the scale models of the most recent architectural projects are set: private houses, residential towers, hotels, resorts and yachts along with images of his product collections, technical drawings and sketches, graphics, invitations, packaging and catalogues. Furthermore, added to the exhibition are some samples of the Industrial design production, realized for Porro and for some the most important brands of the “ Made in Italy” (such as Boffi, Living Divani, Alessi, Olivari) and many transparent cases with graphics and packaging.
