The SaloneSatellite Permanent Collection arrives in Jakarta with 55 projects tracing 27 years of talent, encounters between designers and companies, and new visions for design.
From 18 September to 18 October 2026, on the occasion of Indonesia Design Week, the Townhall at Indonesia Design District (IDD) PIK2 in Jakarta hosts “SaloneSatellite Permanent Collection Exhibition 1998-2026”: a selection of products that transforms the SaloneSatellite archive into a living atlas of connections, experimentation and success stories.
The exhibition design, by architects Ricardo Bello Dias and Hariadna Pinate, recreates the atmosphere and exhibition experience of SaloneSatellite in Jakarta.
Among the 55 objects on display are icons of contemporary design, including the Balancing Boxes side table by Front for Porro, which has become part of the collective design imagination, alongside projects born from pivotal encounters between young designers and companies. One such example is the Origata console, designed by Nao Tamura for Porro and recently awarded an Honourable Mention at the 2026 ADI Compasso d’Oro.
