The opening party of the new space, scheduled for November 6, started with an introduction of the owner of Moda Bagno, Mr. Nikos Varveris and a presentation of Porro, to give the local public the opportunity to learn more about the history, philosophy and the production of one of the most popular brands of furniture, which is characterized by research on quality, refinement of line and the technical quality of the details.

Porro’s ambiance is set up as a wide and sophisticated bedroom.

At the centre of the room, the new Taiko bed is the star, a unique blend of rigorous geometry and inviting softness. With its constant and welcoming volume in the warm notes and golden blonde color of the heat treated elm and the feather back cushions in avorio leather, Taiko is accompanied by the Butler cylindrical bedside table, in the same essence, which presents a grooved tray on top that enhances the objects placed upon it.

The whole environment is defined by the open wardrobe Storage, which exposes clothes in perfect order. It’s presented in the expressive finishing of mongoi in an angular composition that alternates open modules, like the shoe module with the stunning illuminated shoe shelves, to modules closed by Iron doors in transparent glass with iron-look varnished metal profiles.

The dressing room is enclosed on one side by a composition of Storage Air, the self-bearing walk-in closet with sides and back-panels in transparent glass, accompanied by the new Acquario drawer unit, made in transparent glass with burnished brass profiles, divided in 3 shelves and customizable with wooden trays which leave the contents visible, in order to store them in perfect order and then extract them with ease.

On the background of the bed, the wardrobe Storage is presented with Scoop pull-out sliding doors in glass, made without the presence of a perimeter frame, with “cenere” hemlock interiors.

On the right wall, instead, the Storage walk-in closet in mongoi is equipped with bags holders and wooden trays for shirts. Keeping your clothes in order has never been so easy or fun, thanks to the internal customisations and accessories: functional features adding a warm, inviting touch to a home or elegant boutique.

The relaxing area near the bed is created by the Jade armchair in leather which looks suspended on the cross base in Canaletto walnut, accompanied by the small round table Shahan available in the same finish.

One breathes the refined and relaxed atmosphere of the Porro house even in its details, like the mirrors Reflection with a sculptural bronze-satined painted metal frame and Bellevue that rotates, giving diverse perspectives and refractions of reflected images, in order to observe the world from new points of view.

Porro is also protagonist in the dining room exhibited in the shopping window, where an imposing Synapsis table with a black stained hemlock top and a black varnished chromium-plated steel woven base is presented with Neve chairs with a black stained ash structure and black leather seat and with an Inlay cupboard with oak inlay in 4 different colours.
