On the occasion of ICFF, Porro promotes a special exhibition dedicated to its art director Piero Lissoni, curated by the studio Nextdoor’s, in a special partnering with Elle Decor Italia and Carin Scheve’s stylist. The “1:1 Piero Lissoni” exhibition is conceived to offer a special experience for the visitor, the temporary “Casa Lissoni”, furnished with the most iconic design products of one of the most famous International architects on the international scene, a journey into the creative heart of New York to discover the style of Piero Lissoni and eight emerging design studios.

With a broad overview of its home furnishing and contract proposals and the remarkable presence of its systems, Porro is among the protagonists of the ideal New York loft by Piero Lissoni. If Modern system of containers and tops comes in different compositions, like the bench in natural hemlock and mongoi and the cupboard mixing white lacquered doors and black stained hemlock open elements, to show some of its thousand facets, System bookcase makes up the living area, while the dressing room is the world of Storage, the system of wardrobes, open wardrobes and walk-in closets. In order to contain all clothes in perfect order, Storage wardrobe is exposed with pull-out sliding Scoop doors in dove-grey glass with hemlock “cenere” interiors, natural nuances for both the structure and the metal elements, varnished in the same colour. In all exposed areas, the icon products drawn by Piero Lissoni for the company through the years alternate to each other: in the office, the minimal design of Minimo table in black stained hemlock is matched with the Soft Chair armchairs by Christophe Pillet, while in the kitchen and dining room the rigorous yet soft lines of Neve armchairs, reinterpreting the classic wooden chair in a contemporary vein, are protagonist.
