An immersive experience transforms a space into a home: Porro confirms also in Florida its partnership with West | Out East, the showroom founded in East Hampton in 2014, inspired by the mission to bring a fresh, vibrant take on design while sharing their passion for warm, modern interiors.

The West | Out East team, along with its founder, West Chin, has since expanded to include a new Porro flagship showroom in NYC as well as their other multi-brand showrooms in NYC, Westport and finally Miami, where each location is a carefully crafted home.

The new showroom, Casa Palma, lies beneath the lush canopies of Coconut Grove. Originally a grapefruit warehouse, this structure has been renovated to house contemporary products while retaining its historic charm, celebrating the colors and textures that capture Miami’s distinctive sensibilities.

In the great room of the historic Gifford House, once the architect’s drafting room, the atmosphere is both grand and airy, enhanced by the double-height ceiling and exposed trusses. Completing the great room’s ensemble is a Modern + Load-it media wall composition by Piero Lissoni + CRS Porro, which exemplifies sophistication with its combination of wall paneling, shelving and storage cabinets. This system not only meets functional needs but also complements the room’s grandeur, making it truly complete and a testament to both form and function.

In the hallway, the Porro Glide sliding doors elegantly divide the primary suite from the communal living areas featuring slatted detailing that allows for a visual and conversational connection between the two spaces.
Adjacent to the entry way, the System bookcase by Porro provides a preview of the curated selection of art and accessories throughout the showroom.

The primary suite lounge features a key element: the Storage dressing room, a dream escape for fashion enthusiasts. Each Porro closet composition is uniquely structured to fit the clients’ space and needs, offering endless versatility.

In the primary bedroom, the Load-it Modern by Porro sets the foundation for a serene and refined atmosphere, doubling as a feature wall with subtly placed reading lighting and functional nightstands / shelving.

The study is perfectly tailored for working and collaboration: here the oval Jeff table by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti for Porro sways between minimalism and maximalism. Garda chair by Piero Lissoni and Modern cupboard complete the ambience.

From breakfast to Happy Hour. The Den is another central location of the house exuding an intimate atmosphere that is perfect for gatherings. It features a multi-use bar designed with Porro’s Load-it and Modern elements to accommodate the perched nook.
