Traveller daybed by GamFratesi for Porro on show at the first Interior Design Center in the heart of Rome, since 2017 combining the cultural and commercial aspects of design.

Inaugurated on 22 November, “Ordine Gigante“ by Gamfratesi is a site specific installation on the “Personal / Shared” theme, realized within “Una stanza tutta per sé”, the Domitilla Dardi’s cultural project ideated for Cantiere, inviting various protagonists of the design scene to interpret the space of a room.

The exhibition depicts an informal space, characterized by large canvases giving the room a warm and rhythmic look. At the centre the Traveller daybed, created by the strategic liason between Porro and Gamfratesi started in 2015.

Elegant and original double sides daybed, Traveller invites to communicate and tell a story, important themes inside the project. It stands out for a trestle structure in painted metal also used as a support. The side backrests, in “saddle effect” leather, are softened by the presence of two cushions covered in fabric. The space clearly expresses the desire for relationships with others, becoming a way of sharing.
