Porro with the Arnaldo chair by Yabu Pushelberg to New York during NYCxDESIGN 2026

12.05.26

Following its debut at Salone del Mobile.Milano, Porro unveils the Arnaldo chair at its New York flagship alongside a curated program of exhibitions, panel discussions, and installations celebrating contemporary Italian design during New York City Design Week.

For NYCxDESIGN 2026, the Porro New York Showroom hosts a panel moderated by writer and curator Adrian Madlener, in conversation with Maria Porro, marketing and communication director at Porro, alongside Glenn Pushelberg and George Yabu, principals of Yabu Pushelberg, offering a moment of exchange dedicated to the new design languages and the dialogue between different design cultures.
The renowned American-Canadian studio brings an external perspective, offering a fresh and unexpected point of view on the Porro project.

The new Arnaldo Armchair, upholstered in fabric or leather, gently embraces its soft forms: an intimate piece of furniture capable of evolving and accompanying family life for decades, while also serving as a discreet yet refined seating solution in hospitality settings.
Inspired by the past and informed by contemporary research, this collaboration explored new languages and typologies, sharing narratives that once again transforms the identity of Porro interiors without ever renouncing the brand’s distinctive character.
