Unit cupboard, ethereal and strongly exotic as well, Mikado by the designers Front  has been chosen to take part to the exhibition “Sempering”, hosted in the spaces of the MUDEC, on the occasion of the XXI Triennale di Milano 2016 International Exposition.

Curated by Luisa Collina, Cino Zucchi together with Valentina Auricchio e Simona Galateo, the exposition whose title is a neologism from the surname of the renown German Architect Gottfried Semper, shows how the most interesting explorations in the fields of architecture, design, landscape design, public art, can show the forms of a new work attitude able to deal with the environmental challenge with consciousness, empiricism and rigor.

Inevitable, the presence of Porro, the company that throughout the years, has been able to reinterpret important traditions such as carving, wood bending, inlay and the combination of wood strips placed side-to-side in a modern and abstract way, creating outstanding projects as demonstrated by EDIDA, ELLE DECOR INTERNATIONAL DESIGN AWARDS, assigned both to Gentle chair “Best Seating 2013” and Mikado cupboard “Best Furniture 2014.
