On Friday, May 16, Porro and West | Out East welcomed architects and clients to a design talk in collaboration with Dezeen, celebrating an evening of design, dialogue, and creativity at the new Porro flagship store in New York.
The conversation, moderated by Dezeen’s US Editor Ben Dreith, featured Japanese designer Nao Tamura and Maria Porro—Head of Marketing and Communication at Porro.

The event offered a unique opportunity to discover the story behind the Origata console, crafted from a single aluminum sheet using only screws, with minimal material waste—a refined example of Porro’s commitment to sustainable design.

The evening concluded with a cocktail reception, raising a glass to a century of innovation, craftsmanship, and timeless elegance.
