Maria Porro, marketing director of Porro SpA, was the protagonist of the stage that took place on June 5th in Bergamo, where she illustrated the strengths of the brand founded by the great-grandfather Giulio in 1925.
With  over 90 years experience, the Porro family produces modular systems and furnishings where the traditional craftsmanship of the past meets the most advanced production technologies, conquering a large space on the international market, with exports accounting for 70% of turnover and over 600 stores worldwide. Porro production, still 100% Made in Italy, is the result of strong investments in research and development: like the new avant-garde machinery for the production of just-in-time panels based on the customer's order, inaugurated at the end of 2018 and financed by the recent legislation on the evolution towards industry 4.0, which led to the reduction of waste and the elimination of warehouse stocks, in a green perspective of sustainable development.
