PORRO AMONG THE "WINNING COMPANIES” SELECTED BY INTESA SAN PAOLO

Among the most appreciated names in the world of furniture for the research on finishes, the refinement of the lines and the technological quality of the details, Porro was awarded in the context of the program "Winning Companies”, promoted by the Intesa SanPaolo Banking Group in support of small and medium-sized companies representing an example of entrepreneurial excellence and made in Italy.
Historical brand of Italian design and technological jewel, Porro was selected from over 1,800 companies belonging to the sectors industry and services, food and beverage, fashion and design who applied on the Intesa Sanpaolo website from February to March 2019, and was admitted to the first level of public visibility through a roadshow.
Maria Porro, marketing director of Porro SpA, was the protagonist of the stage that took place on June 5th in Bergamo, where she illustrated the strengths of the brand founded by the great-grandfather Giulio in 1925.
With  over 90 years experience, the Porro family produces modular systems and furnishings where the traditional craftsmanship of the past meets the most advanced production technologies, conquering a large space on the international market, with exports accounting for 70% of turnover and over 600 stores worldwide. Porro production, still 100% Made in Italy, is the result of strong investments in research and development: like the new avant-garde machinery for the production of just-in-time panels based on the customer's order, inaugurated at the end of 2018 and financed by the recent legislation on the evolution towards industry 4.0, which led to the reduction of waste and the elimination of warehouse stocks, in a green perspective of sustainable development.
A project also financed by Intesa San Paolo, which invited Porro to participate in the "Winning Companies" program. The most representative success cases of Italian values ​​and qualities of excellence,  will be “celebrated” during a final event to be held in September 2019.
