Proud City– Fuchinobe (Japan)

Info

Geometry, color and poetry of Porro design furnish the lobby of the new residential complex Proud City, in the heart of Japan, 6 min. walk from Fuchinobe station, Kanagawa.

In the large double height living room, the modularity of Modern, Porro’s day system of containers and suspended shelves designed Piero Lissoni, becomes a game of shapes and primary colors, that opposes  open elements in solid hemlock to lacquered doors in different finishings. The setting is scenically lit by Shadow Light lamps by Swedish designers Front in the floor version: characterized by a minimalist white lampshade, once turned on they are covered in dots, for those who do not forget their emotions, combining them with aesthetics and technology typical of Porro brand.
The interior design is curated by E-Interiors, an old and experienced dealer of Porro in Japan. With its 580m2 4-storey showroom in Tokyo, it’s the point of reference where the Japanese public can find the complete collection of one of the most loved Italian furniture companies. For its immediately identifiable essential style and the high quality of its project proposals, Porro design is perfectly in tune with the sensitivity towards forms, geometries and colours that distinguishes this country.
