A residential project by CCD (Cheng Chung Design)
Porro has designed the wardrobe spaces for an exclusive private villa in Shenzhen, created by CCD (Cheng Chung Design), one of Asia's leading interior design firms, in collaboration with the dealer Como Atelier.
The project envisions the sleeping area as a sequence of interconnected spaces dedicated to well-being, personal care, and everyday living, transforming the wardrobe into a true architectural feature within the home.
At the heart of the residence is a spacious area centred around the Storage night system, designed by Piero Lissoni + CRS Porro, concealed behind large doors that open onto a sequence of fluid, seamlessly connected spaces.
The entrance welcomes guests with an elegant vanity area featuring a desk, a Storage chest of drawers, and a white leather upholstered bench.
This space introduces a pathway defined by continuous wardrobes and expansive mirrored surfaces that enhance the perception of space. At the centre lies a dressing room dedicated to accessories, designed with the Storage Boiserie system in white ash with a perla finish structure. Illuminated transparent shelves, suspended drawer units, and the Storage Isola chest of drawers organise every item with precision and lightness, creating an environment that is both functional and elegant.
The master wardrobe area is then divided into two distinct spaces, dedicated respectively to her and to him.
The women's wardrobe features the Storage Wardrobe with Block glass doors in the refined cuvée finish, subtly revealing the white cherry melamine interiors and creating a warm, sophisticated atmosphere where materials, transparency, and light interact in perfect harmony.
For the men's wardrobe, CCD selected a fully glazed corner composition with a white ash melamine structure and interior fittings, inspired by the essential language of Nordic design. Metal components in the perla finish and matching glass doors contribute to a minimalist yet welcoming environment, where every element finds its place within a rigorously composed design.
The entire project stands out for its palette of light, luminous finishes, interpreted through two distinct material expressions: one pure and understated, the other warmer and more enveloping. Thanks to the exceptional level of customisation offered by the Storage system, each composition has been tailor-made to maximise the full height of the space, transforming the wardrobe into a refined architectural volume within the home, where functionality, elegance, and bespoke craftsmanship come together.
