After the first successful 2016 edition, Porro enhances its visibility in China by confirming its participation to the Salone del Mobile Milano.Shanghai.
The Italian brand, represented locally through flagship showrooms in Shanghai and Beijing and dealers in Nanjing, Hangzhou, Xiamen and Jiangsu, is particularly renowned in Asia for its fine selection of 18 wood types as well as for its exclusive system of wardrobes and dressing rooms Storage, an epitome of the custom-making abilities of Porro thanks to ingenious and innovative space solutions, accurate finishes, functional internal spaces and care for concealed details as well.
In the night area, an intimate size and a complete natural leather cover characterize the new bed Sadoru by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti. With simple drawers in eucalyptus and tops in Sahara Noir marble with strong white and gold nuances, bedside tables belong to the HUB system of containers for the night area by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti. On the background is the fascinating Boiserie Storage – halfway between a walk-in closet and an open wardrobe. The bedroom is completed by the Hinged Storage wardrobe with eucalyptus melamine interiors and Block doors in Reflex glass.

The living area is conceived as a waiting and relaxation area around the low table Ferro in antique red, among the new bright metal finishes offered by the brand: as a new classic, the armchairs Kite by GamFratesi feature a black painted metal structure with a new texturized purple or grey fabric. On the wall are long System book shelves in Barrique oak, a new wood type featuring warm grey tones: as a bespoke element along the wall, interrupting the wooden surface, there are 2 Iron hinged doors in clear glass with blue denim back panels and the new blue matt-lacquered sliding door Lift. When moving vertically, the latter reveals a large space with a denim blue back panel that can be used for a TV screen or a collection of objects to conceal.

In the dining room, the new table Materic by Piero Lissoni emerges in the space with its clear and rigorously fashionable aesthetic, featuring a round dark green marble top and a solid black-stained ash base, tapered and then turned with a delicate wedge design. Around it, the chairs Voyage by GamFratesi with their impeccable style, featuring an exposed framework in natural or brown-stained maple and a close-fitting dress in black leather that draws inspiration from basic modernist design, devoid of any unnecessary details. To store chinaware and glasses, the new low version of the Gallery cupboard by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti features a single horizontal door in black-stained hemlock that slides downwards.

To store garments and create a secret room at home, the Storage Dressing Room is presented in eucalyptus and as a large corner composition, featuring open modules in the middle and closed spaces on the sides. Its design ranges from the warmth of 32S doors in black walnut, with Clip handles in burnished brass, to the rigor of Iron doors in clear glass with burnished brass profile. In the middle of the setting, the new central drawer unit Hub, featuring a black walnut frame and top, combines wood or glass drawers with a soft bench in dark brown leather, where to sit and contemplate one’s own wardrobe.
