PIERO LISSONI
Art director Piero Lissoni oversees the update of the systems, also putting his signature on two new products for the day area. The new Materic table emerges in the space with its clear and rigorously fashionable aesthetic, a decorative object that juxtaposes the absolute simplicity of its form with the attention to detail and workmanship. An exercise in totally pure geometry, a thin circle resting on a truncated cone, it is tinged with the rich copper highlights of the surface in dark green marble, and the intense dark of the solid black stained ash base, tapered and then turned with a delicate wedge design recalls the columns of the Greek temples. A visual icon, that mixes classical inspiration with a contemporary soul.

GAMFRATESI
The creative bond continues between Porro and GamFratesi, that is Enrico Fratesi and Stine Gam, the pair who combine the Mediterranean spirit and Nordic culture. A new classic, the Kite armchair designed for the 2017 collection, is a soft but also generous product, that can inhabit an office’s waiting area, as well as a period house thanks to its evergreen look and its timeless charm. On the one hand, the black-painted metal structure is a set of curved lines into space, unquestionably a Porro creation, on the other hand, the leather or fabric covered internal padding winks at the fashion world and recalls the shape of an enveloping coat with a folded collar, creating an inviting arm support. The slightly protruding high seat cushion boosts its comfort, creating a stylish object in its leather version, whereas the fabric version leaves room for colour, texture and decoration.

OSCAR E GABRIELE BURATTI
In the night area, an intimate size and a complete leather cover characterise the new Sadoru bed by Oscar and Gabriele Buratti brothers, two of the company’s favourites for their measured style and their eye for detail. Tall and solid, with its strong yet not excessively deep headboard, Sadoru easily fits all home and contract environments, where the eye is captivated by the chosen material. The thickness, the double seam and the refined detail of the large, curved headboard, that folds in on itself like an envelope on the sides, reveal a creative, ingenious project and an almost hand-crafted saddlery-like production.
