Porro takes part in "Universo Satellite. 25 years of SaloneSatellite," the extraordinary exhibition celebrating the 25th anniversary of SaloneSatellite, outpost of creativity in the world of design, at the Milan Triennale, where designers encountered in their early days will showcase their most recent projects, unpublished and otherwise. Curated by Beppe Finessi and set up by Ricardo Bello Dias, the exhibition project reflects on the entire history of the event, offering an in-depth look at the evolution of design through dialogues, relationships, and innovations.

Among the designers who have gained fame through SaloneSatellite is Nao Tamura, winner of the 1st SaloneSatellite Award in 2010, who after a series of prestigious collaborations and installations over the years, debuts with Porro in 2024 and presents her latest creation, the Origata bench, part of the eponymous collection.
Monolithic in appearance, the Origata bench and console table are inspired by the kimono making, the traditional Japanese garments, in which flat, rectangular fabric is cut according to straight lines and then sewn together so as to avoid waste: a principle taken up in the making of these furnishings, created from a sheet of aluminum cut and assembled through screws, maximizing the use of material.
A minimalist geometry and pop object, brutalist architecture softened by a soft cushion, the Origata bench, on display in the denim blue version, is a design that combines simple gestures and aesthetic simplification, giving voice to the values shared by the designer and the brand: cultural identity and internationality.
